Stablerail as a BVNK alternative
BVNK is built for platforms, marketplaces and merchants embedding stablecoin pay-ins and settlement through APIs, with balances held on the provider side. Stablerail is built for the finance team that already receives USDT or USDC and needs to run controlled operations on that balance — keys included, no code required.
Side by side
| Dimension | Stablerail | BVNK |
|---|---|---|
| Primary buyer | CFO or finance lead at a 20–500 person company | Product and engineering teams at platforms and merchants |
| Shape of product | An operating account you log into | Payments API and embedded stablecoin infrastructure |
| Custody | Self-custodial MPC with quorum-protected key export; Stablerail cannot sign alone | Provider-held balances under their regulated entities |
| Networks | Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and XRP | Major stablecoin networks for pay-in and settlement, defined by the provider |
| Assets | USDC, USDT, EURC, DAI, PYUSD plus major native coins | Leading stablecoins plus fiat settlement currencies |
| Approvals | Organisation-level policy engine: thresholds by amount, asset, counterparty and role, self-approval limits, quorum signing | Merchant/API permissions configured per integration |
| Counterparties | Counterparty register with accepted network, address history and screening per record | Payees defined in your own system and passed to the API |
| Screening | Sanctions and wallet-risk checks before release plus ongoing monitoring, stored as evidence | Provider-side compliance on their flows, not evidence handed to your auditor per payment |
| Payouts | Batch contractor and vendor payouts in the UI, one approval per run | Payout APIs to build against |
| Cards | Stablecoin-funded corporate cards with limits, freeze and transaction feed | Not a corporate card programme |
| Fiat rails | SEPA, SEPA Instant, ACH, SWIFT, Faster Payments and virtual IBANs via regulated partners | Fiat settlement rails and virtual accounts via their licences and partners |
| Invoicing | Payment requests, invoices and reconciliation against incoming payments | Checkout and pay-in flows for your customers |
| Earn | Idle balances can be deployed from the same account under policy control | Not the focus |
| Evidence and close | Audit log of every action, evidence pack per transaction, auditor-ready exports | Transaction data via API and dashboards |
| Engineering required | None to operate the account | An integration project |
| Time to value | Days, self-serve to start after KYB | Commercial onboarding plus integration |

Choose Stablerail if
- Your finance team, not your engineers, moves the money.
- You want approvals, screening and month-end evidence in one place.
- You want to keep control of your own keys rather than hold a balance with a provider.

- You hold USDT on Tron as well as EVM stablecoins.
Choose BVNK if
- You are a platform embedding stablecoin pay-ins and pay-outs for your own customers.
- Your primary requirement is a payments API and merchant checkout rather than an operating account.
- You want a regulated provider to hold balances and own settlement on your behalf.
- You need high-volume merchant acceptance rather than internal treasury controls.
Frequently asked questions
Is Stablerail a BVNK alternative?
For finance teams, yes. BVNK is stablecoin payment infrastructure aimed at platforms and merchants integrating via API. Stablerail is a business account you log into, with approvals, counterparty screening, batch payouts, cards and fiat rails already assembled.
What is the custody difference?
Stablerail is self-custodial: keys are split using MPC and the customer holds a share, so Stablerail cannot sign alone and the customer can export keys under quorum. Payment providers typically hold customer balances themselves, which makes you a creditor of the provider.
Can Stablerail handle pay-ins as well as payouts?
Yes. You can receive USDT and USDC on supported networks into your treasury account, then screen, approve and route funds to payouts, cards or fiat off-ramps, with reconciliation against invoices.
Do I need a developer to use Stablerail?
No. Everything runs in the product. APIs exist for teams that want automation, but the account is designed to be operated by finance.
Can we use both?
Yes, and some companies do: a payments provider for customer-facing acceptance, Stablerail for the corporate treasury that receives, controls and spends the resulting balance.
